Our Arizona Wrestling Tournament Trip

We had a fun time going to Arizona this past weekend for the Sunkist International Open. It was Daddy's first wrestling tournament for a long time. We enjoyed cheering him on and staying with our brother, David and his family. We were so happy that Mom Hunter came along to support us and see family too. We really appreciate all of her help. Arizona was quite the adventure...
We all though the cacti were really awesome. Preston was especially excited when he saw big ones like these (he was actually asleep for this cool hill). The ride there and back was about ten hours too long, but we made it!
Preston with daddy. He got to wear a singlet, just like dad so he could wrestle too. They had a lot of fun wrestling on the mat. Preston helped daddy warm up for his matches.
Eva not wanting to pose for a picture, but she was there!

Daddy won! He took 2nd place at the Sunkist Kids International Tournament. He worked so hard and we are so proud of him. Preston and Eva thought his little Kachina doll trophy was awesome! He also won $500. We are totally amazed by him! We love you daddy!

Here we all are at the tournament with the Kachina doll trophy. This was Daddy's first tournament after seven years of not wrestling. This win really was amazing!

Good job DAD!

Eva Marie Hunter's Butterfly Birthday Party!

Eva's Birthday party was very fun and successful for a one year bash. She enjoyed parts of it and cried through a lot of it. She was tired during most of it. She was adorable during all of it. She loved the cookie contest most of all, until mom moved her while she was eating her favorite cookie and made her throw a tantrum. She got some wonderful presents from both grandmas, GG, Aunt Kristy, Uncle Jason, Dillon and baby Leia, Eric and Suzanne and two of their daughters (Ally and Emma) came late and gave Eva a present too! Thank you to everyone for participating in Eva's celebration!

Trying on GG's present (handmade leg warmers and hat)!

Her birthday suit! She ended up in just a diaper after the cookie contest.

Preston makes Eva laugh

Sometimes they are just get along perfectly! I love having these moments captured.

Eva Toy Game

She invented this game all by herself. She would put one toy in front of the other and follow that pattern all around the room. Amazing!

Eva goes down the stairs

Eva goes down the stairs for the first time. Quite awhile ago.

Pumpkin Carving

Preston didn't want to put his hand in the pumpkin to take out the seeds, but he eventually did it. Eva thought it was pretty cool, and did it repeatedly.

Preston's Pumpkin

Preston saw a pumpkin patch while we were driving one day. He loved to see so many pumpkins. So, on our way back we stopped by the pumpkin patch and let him pick one. This is one of the smaller pumpkins from the small pile. Daddy and I tried to persuade him to get a bigger one, but he insisted that this pumpkin was a "big pumpkin" and he could carry it all by himself. He didn't like the bigger ones that he couldn't quite carry.

The Fat Cat that Rolled Down the Stairs and Hit the Table

Aunt Katelynne told Preston a story about a fat cat that was so fat he couldn't move, until he shifted and he rolls all the way down the stairs and hits the table. Everything falls off the table, and there is a lot of stuff on the table because the old man that owns the cat kept everything he ever got. The story continues, but that is about as far as Preston gets in his reenactment. We love you Aunt Katelynne!

Thank you Aunt Kellie and Uncle Steven!

Thank you Aunt Kellie and Uncle Steven for the birthday card and five dollars! Eva was very happy and she put the money in her little bank all by herself. We love you!
