We went to the temple grounds for Family Home Evening to teach Preston and Eva about the temple. It was a very sweet experience. Preston liked it a lot. We sang "I love to see the Temple" and Preston sang the last word of every phrase. He remembers a lot of songs! Preston and Daddy explored the temple grounds (grass, hills, flowers, pathways, trees) while I fed Eva. He was near me trying to climb a tree and I asked him "What is this tree close too?" (Trying to get him to realize he was playing at the temple). He answered me, "This is HIS tree." So Daddy asked, "Who is "his"?" Preston answered "Jesus Christ." He just knew it!
We were singing "Nephi of Old" (We'll Bring the World His Truth) and we came to the line "of goodly parents who love the Lord." I paused after "who love" to let him fill in the words "the Lord" like he usually will. But Preston, after hearing "who love" decided to say "my Grandma." Very cute. He loves you Grandma!
Preston and Daddy have invented a hugging game. It is really sweet. Preston says "grande" or "pequeno" and Daddy gives him big "grande" hug or a small "pequeno" hug. He says "grande" in his big voice and "pequeno" in this little high-pitched sweet tiny voice. Man, adorable, I tell you.
Our neice, Preston and Eva's cousin, Sierra, who is about one and a half, really loves little Eva. Whenever she comes over she is always saying "baby Eva" and pointing to her or playing with her. Sierra was at her house and had a poopy diaper. Her mom asked "Are you poopy?" and Sierra said, "No. Eva's poopy." The next time she was poopy she just told her mom, "Eva's poopy." How cute!
